We might be mid-heatwave, and September church services might be the last thing on your mind! But if you're the planning-ahead kind, here are five ways you can prepare for the autumn...
Open your diaries and jot down 3 Sept (Back to School Sunday) and 10 Sept (Education Sunday)! We'll provide prayer points and information to help inform your prayers. Create some space in your church services to pray for those in education and our Open The Book Bible storytelling programme on one (or both!) of those dates.
This 8-session course is a great way to kick off the autumn term with your church or small group. You'll get to see the big picture of the Bible and see how it applies to your life. View a sample session.
Many of you will be marking 'Bible Sunday' on the church calendar, recognising the precious place of God's word in our lives. Pop 28 October in your diaries and keep an eye out for our Bible Sunday resources, coming soon.
This year marks the centenary of the end of World War One. Discover the role of the Bible in World War One and get your service plan, sermon notes, hymn suggestions in our church pack. In the run up to Armistice Day, why not join us in praying for peace and hope for 100 days from 4 August?
We have a range of fantastic speakers who love coming to churches like yours. Why not invite one to speak at one of your autumn services or mid-week groups? Log your request before heading off on your holidays.
