This September Bible Society staff took part in Bake for Bibles 2022  as part of their monthly All Staff Meeting.

Ten competitive bakers entered their show-stopping bakes. From super chocolatey rocky road to luscious lemon cake; fabulous focaccia bread to amazing apple crumble cupcakes; vivacious Victoria sponge to blissful Black Forest gateau cake – each bake was Paul-Hollywood-handshake-worthy.

But at the end of the day, there could only be one winner. Voting was close but fantastic fundraiser Larissa Morava was crowned star baker with her lush lemon meringue cake. She took away the coveted ‘star baker’ engraved wooden spoon as her prize.

And the best part? Over £170 was raised to share God’s love with people who have been displaced by conflicts around the world – including Ukrainians.

You too can bake for Bibles and change lives for good. Gather friends, family and your church community to get baking and put God’s word in the hands of those who need it most this autumn. Find out more and access Bake for Bibles resources today.
