It’s a year since the war in Ukraine began. Horror, help and hope have gone hand in hand during the last year.

Churches across Britain have welcomed Ukrainian families. And in Ukraine itself, our colleagues have been working tirelessly to bring the hope of the Bible, along with basic food and medical aid to stricken communities.

A year on, they spend much of their time on the front line, in beleaguered cities like Bakhmut, handing out Bibles and leading impromptu services as artillery fire goes off all around them.

Living at the edge of death has led many Ukrainians (in what is a largely Christian country) to read the Bible. In the last year, our colleagues have distributed more than half a million copies of the Bible across the country.

Thank you for your generosity, which has made this possible.
